Move over butterfly clips and scrunchies, studded hair clips are the latest ‘90s throwback hair accessory you’ll want to wear—stat. At the Fendi Spring 2017 fashion show today at Milan Fashion week, top models like sisters Gigi and Bella Hadid walked the runway with colorful studded hair clips that were slightly punky, and slightly reminiscent of our favorite Lego pieces.
To fully transform the models into the cool, video game-playing girls we all wanted to be friends with in middle school, hairstylist extraordinaire Sam McKnight threw their hair up in a variety of your ‘90s go-to styles including pigtails, high ponys, super sleek, and half up, half down looks, and pinned a handful of the funky clips on various parts of the models’ heads.

As if the #tbt-worthy hair isn’t enough to wax poetic over, makeup-pro Peter Philips paired the styles with equally lust-worthy exaggerated winged eyeliner and a glitter lip—confirming that we also need to revisit the glitter glue we were using in the ‘90s too.
